What is the glass-skin hydra facial?

“Glass skin” describes skin that looks clear, smooth and luminous. This facial is designed to help your skin look that way, especially before an event.

Timing before an event
For a special occasion, book your facial about three to seven days before. This gives any slight redness from the peel time to settle while your skin still looks its freshest. If you have not had a peel before, a trial facial a few weeks earlier is a good idea.
Aftercare
Your skin may look a little pink for a few hours. For 24 to 48 hours, avoid make-up if you can, saunas and intense exercise, and skip exfoliants and retinoids. Wear SPF 30 or higher every day. Light flaking can occasionally follow the peel.

Suitability
This facial is for adults aged 18 and over. It is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding (because of the peel step), or if you have active acne, cold sores, broken or sunburnt skin, or have recently used prescription retinoids or certain acne medicines. Let us know about any skin conditions or medicines when you book.
